Dustin Spencer and his family have been faithfully serving Parkway Wesleyan Church in Blue Ridge, Virginia, since 2010. He and his wife, Carynn, both became followers of Christ at a young age and have been actively involved in ministry together since their marriage in 2006.

Carynn is a mechanical engineer working in Technical Sales at a local manufacturing company. Together, she and Dustin have committed their lives to serving the Church and growing God's Kingdom through various ministry roles.

Dustin began his ministry journey as a Youth Director at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bluefield, West Virginia, where he served full time for two years. He joined the staff at Parkway Church part time in 2016, focusing on worship leadership, and completed his Master of Arts in Theology from Liberty University in 2017. He stepped into full-time ministry at Parkway in 2019 and was appointed Executive Pastor in 2020. Since then, he has led the staff team and has served as the church’s primary teaching pastor since August 2024.

Dustin and Carynn have two sons who are active in both sports and academics and attend Read Mountain Middle School in Daleville, Virginia. Ministry is a family calling for the Spencers—Dustin’s parents serve in maintenance and preschool ministries at Parkway, and his sister and her family are also active members of the church.

Dustin is deeply grateful to begin this next chapter of leadership and expresses sincere appreciation for Pastor Ott, whose mentorship over the past eight years has prepared him for this role. He is excited to continue serving Parkway Wesleyan Church with vision, humility, and a heart for discipleship.
